Caught in a moment of reverie? She seems so - - vulnerable? Looking at you with her heart in her eyes, fingers twisting in her beads?

# 116 Little Anna by Lynne Clarke

5x7" acrylic on canvas $85
to purchase contact artsnaksonline@gmail.com or

Voluptuous application of paint, splendid color with reddy purple lights in the black background and deep yellow in the wall coloring. Anna is truly a work of art, a little beauty. And you'll love the paint work on her silly little collar, all furled up at the side, and in the ruffles -- smidges of light and depth of yellow in the shadows and hints of folds. Shadows at the edge of her collar emphasize the delicacy of her flesh, alluring skin tones hinting of secrets and romance.

One year I went to the Gala for a fundraising by VAE, and I saw this lady. She seemed really happy and excited to be there. I really like her.

#104 Immy with Blue Eyes by Lynne Clarke

5x7" acrylic on canvas $85
to purchase, contact artsnaksonline@gmail.com or

Immy doesn't look exactly like this now, but I think she will as she gets older. She's really so cool and so funny and wonderful. This painting is a reflection of all the cool and interesting things I see in her, and have since she was a little girl. She looks a lot like her mom in some ways too.

#103 Candle and Glass on Table by Lynne Clarke

5x7" acrylic on canvas $85
to purchase, contact artsnaksonline@gmail.com or

I love glasses like this, and I adore candle holders out of clear glass that are shaped and ridged like this one - - and candle light. This piece feels very romantic to me, and sort of edging back in time with a softness that makes me feel peaceful and content.
